Welcome to the Club!
Welcome new and returning members of The Fairfield and Easton Welcome Club! We’ve got a great season ahead of us with our most popular activities returning and some new ones added to the calendar, too!I truly believe this club is a great way to build lasting relationships and make connections within the community. I know as a new member it can be hard to take that first step into a new activity or group, but I encourage you to try as many as you can. The Welcome Club is made up of many wonderful and amazing people who were new to town once, too, and are ready to make you feel welcomed!
This season, be sure to check out the return of Walkers & Talkers led by Bridget Perry. This fun group will be meeting once a month to stroll the streets of Fairfield and Easton. It’s a great way to get to know the area and meet new friends along the way.
Also new for the season is KnitWits, being led by Jennifer Gibson and myself. In response to member requests, we’ve decided to create a brand new a knitting group! Why are all the cool girls knitting these days? Stop by on the third Wednesday of every month to find out!
Over the summer a new Men’s Golf group was created and led by Matt Prohaska. The group has been meeting regularly and is still looking for new people to join them for the last few games of the season.
If you’re looking for adult only activities this season be sure and check out the events from Detour & Frolic, Casual Gourmet, Ladies’ and Men’s Night Out, Fun & Games, Home Movies, Bunco and Book Groups, and Men's Poker.
For family fun this season you don’t want to miss events from Children's Events, Playgroup Connections, Outdoor Excursions, and Neighborhood Socials.
If community service is what you’re looking for, then why not volunteer to cook or coordinate a meal for Operation Hope or add your name to the Helping Hands team? Be on the lookout for new ways in which The Welcome Club will be giving back this season!
