Operation Hope
Operation Hope is a shelter for men, women and children, located in downtown Fairfield. The Welcome Club of Fairfield/Easton assists Operation Hope by donating a dinner on the third Friday of every month. This meal is organized by a monthly Coordinator and prepared by 3 Cooks. The monthly Coordinator selects a menu that is designed to feed 50 people, buys the necessary ingredients (within a club-reimbursed budget), and delivers the ingredients (along with recipes, labels and instructions) to the 3 Cooks. Each Cook prepares 1/3 of the entire meal at home and delivers it to Operation Hope by the designated date. The drop-off at the shelter is quick and easy.
We are looking for volunteers to donate a few hours each month to
coordinate or prepare meals to help those living at the Operation Hope
Shelter in downtown Fairfield. Please let us know if you are interested in helping out.
